![]() Blender also can animate in 2D and 3D, it's free and very powerful once you learn how to use it. ![]() Other issues could be frames are the speed or parts become out of focus as they've not been rendered correctly when recorded or are lower quality than using a dedicated encoder for exporting. It could take 5 minutes to 1 hour to fix a simple spelling mistake. I suppose you could screen capture and edit the text, put the image back into the video editing software but if it's superimposed on video, that's a lot of frames to edit. In OBS, you'd likely need to recreate everything or that background and change it. So in editing software you scrub to that position and edit the text. For example, at 1 min 5 seconds you have a spelling mistake. Once you record all the overlays and everything in OBS, you cannot go and change it without recreating that entire bit and cut / paste changes into a video time line. Reason to separate the media capture is so you can make changes later and having each part changeable. Personally if I was in your position I'd use OBS for screen recording, audacity or some sound recorder for voice, webcam or camera for face capture and edit it altogether in specific editing software. For creating effects, superimposed text and other stuff. ![]() It'll work but could cost you a lot of time in the future if you make a mistake.įor screen capture, OBS is good. ![]() Personally it sounds like you're using the wrong tool for the job.
